What Does IPL Mean?

IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light; it utilizes a technology similar to that of laser to treat pigment and vascular irregularities of the skin.

What Does IPL Do?

This advanced aesthetic procedure is indicated to treat sun spots, dark spots, and broken facial capillaries, spider veins, port wine stains, and freckles We also use this platform to address the excess flushing and redness that is associated with Rosacea sufferers.

How Does IPL Work?

IPL works similar to a laser; IPL uses light energy which is absorbed into the pigmented cells we are looking to treat and correct. The light energy becomes heat energy and damages the target area leading to improvement of the pigmented lesion or the vascular lesion.

How Many Treatments Do I Need?

The amount of treatments needed vary person to person since everyone has unique skin concerns but on average you typically need a minimum of 4 to 6 treatments to achieve your best correction.
